Sports, whether team based or individually performed, are a great activity and provide us a variety of benefits other than physical fitness. Participation in sports can help build self-esteem, confidence and can motivate us to excel academically and can help build social skills. It can even teach certain individuals the ways and benefits of goal setting & practice. It also improves concentration.
So, with this purpose, we organize a sports meet every year, in which 100% participation is encouraged and each participant is rewarded and it is the participation of every individual that is most important for us and gives us immense joy. This year our college has been declared as one of the best institutions in the city, which has included and is following extra-curricular activities in daily schedule, simultaneously with academics. I wish to thank and congratulate each one of you present here as, without your support, it would not have been possible for us to organize an event of this level. I am pleased to share that the distinguished guest has honored us with her presence today as the Chief Guest of our Sports day is none other than Mrs. Sheila, a Senior Member from the Ministry of Sports. She herself has been a legendary Indian wrestler & Olympian. She has epitomized unfailing spirit to succeed despite all odds. Mrs. Sheila has been one of the Indian women wrestlers who have made their nation proud many a times by outstanding performances in the area mostly dominated by men.
Her valiant struggle backed by her strong determination brought her all the way where she is now. She has won 3 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal for India along with 2 Bronze medals in World Wrestling Championship & Asian Wrestling Championship. It is a privilege for all of us gathered here to have such a famous personality amongst us, as our esteemed guest of honor.
Best of luck to all the students who are now going to present before us their talent and I pray to god that the best one should win. Friends, our guest of honor has effectively contributed in the field of research and is working with the department of the Oxford University. I, therefore, feel privileged to have introduced you to this great scholar.
To all the freshers who have joined this college this very year itself, I want to tell you that every year our college celebrates annual function with great enthusiasm and zeal like a festival and create wonderful memories. Of course, that goes without saying that a lot of efforts went into preparing for this big day as the preparation cannot happen overnight. It requires careful observation of every single detail because the slight negligence can spoil the whole effort.
So let us all, as an audience appreciate the efforts of all the participants who have been working hard, day and night so that they can shine through in their performances. We have been extremely fortunate that there was a support from all the sides not only for the participants, but also to those working backstage. Support from our Principal, Professors, fellow mates and the admin department was also there throughout. The day is primarily special because of the annual function and secondly for the successful completion of 25 years of our college. In this long span of 25 years, the fame of our college has tremendously grown. The college was founded with a view to provide excellent learning opportunities to the students and a great platform to showcase their skills.
Beginning with a few foundation courses, our college has gone on to provide not only graduation courses, but post graduation as well as PhD courses. This is indeed quite an achievement for our college and we are also renowned for our well-equipped research centers. In fact, every year research scholars’ day is also celebrated where research scholars from different parts of the country are invited and knowledge is shared, that benefits everyone present under the same roof.
Other than academic achievements, we also cherish development in the field of sports, arts and culture. What I like the most about my college is that it gives equal importance to each and every discipline, so much so that students have the opportunity to achieve an overall development of their personality. Like every year, in today’s annual function too our students will try to put their best foot forward. The preparations have been going on from last two months. Secondly, I want to thank our respected Principal and Vice Principal for giving us their consent as well as the complete creative freedom. Last but not the least, our respected professors without whom we are incomplete. They support us in many ways unimaginable not only helping us with the ideas, but also with the execution of those ideas and giving us their necessary moral support.
So when the day has finally arrived, I want to assure my audience that we are going to have a gala time today because all the participants have worked really hard. The preparation has been going on since last month and no stone has been left unturned by our students in making their performances look spectacular. Different performances have been lined up for today – some cultural dance performances, singing performances, instrument playing, etc. In addition, there will be some quiz rounds as well.
Besides, there is a speech giving ceremony by our Hon’ble principal who will be addressing the guest tonight as well as her dear students. The speech by her is not just a string of words, but is a powerful motivational speech that will boost the morale of our students and gives them the insight into various things. We consider ourselves quite fortunate to have been growing up intellectually under the aegis of our Hon’ble principal as well as our teachers who constantly help us in pushing our limits. The fact that the students of our college bring appreciation home is all because of the relentless efforts of our professors.
Their intent is not only to help us grow intellectually but also to strengthen our creative faculties. Other than studies, art and cultural streams, sports is also an equally important area of consideration. Both girls and boys of our college excellently perform in inter-college, zonal as well as national sports competitions. Our college is hence much renowned amongst other colleges and I sincerely hope that in the coming years, the fame of our college continues to grow and our students work diligently in different areas so that they come out with flying colors after the completion of their respective courses.

On the behalf of our college, I – Aarushi Sinha – extend a very sincere welcome to all of you present here on the annual sports meet of our college. Sports are an integral as well as necessary part of our lives. It contributes not only to fitness but helps also in personality development of an individual.
Sports, whether team based or individually performed, are a great activity and provide us a variety of benefits other than physical fitness. Participation in sports can help build self-esteem, confidence and can motivate us to excel academically and can help build social skills. It can even teach certain individuals the ways and benefits of goal setting & practice. It also improves concentration.
So, with this purpose, we organize a sports meet every year, in which 100% participation is encouraged and each participant is rewarded and it is the participation of every individual that is most important for us and gives us immense joy. This year our college has been declared as one of the best institutions in the city, which has included and is following extra-curricular activities in daily schedule, simultaneously with academics. I wish to thank and congratulate each one of you present here as, without your support, it would not have been possible for us to organize an event of this level. I am pleased to share that the distinguished guest has honored us with her presence today as the Chief Guest of our Sports day is none other than Mrs. Sheila, a Senior Member from the Ministry of Sports. She herself has been a legendary Indian wrestler & Olympian. She has epitomized unfailing spirit to succeed despite all odds. Mrs. Sheila has been one of the Indian women wrestlers who have made their nation proud many a times by outstanding performances in the area mostly dominated by men.
Her valiant struggle backed by her strong determination brought her all the way where she is now. She has won 3 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal for India along with 2 Bronze medals in World Wrestling Championship & Asian Wrestling Championship. It is a privilege for all of us gathered here to have such a famous personality amongst us, as our esteemed guest of honor.
Best of luck to all the students who are now going to present before us their talent and I pray to god that the best one should win. One should never lose hope even if you fail in a sport as failures lead to success. So with a huge round of applause, let us please call upon our chief guest to grace the occasion and share her life moments and inspiring life story with all of us here.

I, Akshay Panwar and my co-host Ananya Pandey welcome you all to another annual college function of ours and want to extend a note of thank you to our guest of honor Smt. ………..the Principal of ABC College for accepting our invitation and coming over to grace the annual function of our college. Friends, our guest of honor has effectively contributed in the field of research and is working with the department of the Oxford University. I, therefore, feel privileged to have introduced you to this great scholar.
To all the freshers who have joined this college this very year itself, I want to tell you that every year our college celebrates annual function with great enthusiasm and zeal like a festival and create wonderful memories. Of course, that goes without saying that a lot of efforts went into preparing for this big day as the preparation cannot happen overnight. It requires careful observation of every single detail because the slight negligence can spoil the whole effort.
So let us all, as an audience appreciate the efforts of all the participants who have been working hard, day and night so that they can shine through in their performances. We have been extremely fortunate that there was a support from all the sides not only for the participants, but also to those working backstage. Support from our Principal, Professors, fellow mates and the admin department was also there throughout. I cannot help appreciating the undaunting spirit of my team members who went out of their comfort zones to ensure that the tasks are completed at the end of the day. In fact, a special thank you goes to our sponsors as without them this annual function couldn’t have been this grand.
After a round of performances, there will also be the award giving ceremony where our college students who participated in the zonal, state as well as national level will be rewarded. So everyone get ready for some power-packed performances of our students and trust me you will not take your eyes off them.
The function will continue until 6 pm followed by the speech ceremony where our guest of honor would be addressing the students. There will also be a question-answer round where our students can ask question and engage in conversation with our guest. In the end, tea and snacks will be served. So kindly remain seated until the end of the program and cheerfully support our participants.

The day is primarily special because of the annual function and secondly for the successful completion of 25 years of our college. In this long span of 25 years, the fame of our college has tremendously grown. The college was founded with a view to provide excellent learning opportunities to the students and a great platform to showcase their skills.
Beginning with a few foundation courses, our college has gone on to provide not only graduation courses, but post graduation as well as PhD courses. This is indeed quite an achievement for our college and we are also renowned for our well-equipped research centers. In fact, every year research scholars’ day is also celebrated where research scholars from different parts of the country are invited and knowledge is shared, that benefits everyone present under the same roof.
Other than academic achievements, we also cherish development in the field of sports, arts and culture. What I like the most about my college is that it gives equal importance to each and every discipline, so much so that students have the opportunity to achieve an overall development of their personality. Like every year, in today’s annual function too our students will try to put their best foot forward. The preparations have been going on from last two months. I hope all my friends shine through in their performances and give our audience, chiefly our special guest today a high dose of entertainment.
But before we kick start today’s program, please allow me to share the schedule of today’s annual function, i.e. firstly our Hon’ble principal will grace the stage by felicitating our guest of honor followed by a speech ceremony. Then will follow the performances of the students, which are a mix of dance performances, singing performances, playing of the instruments, etc. Before closing the day, we would also request our guest of honor to say a few words to our students and give away awards and medals to the candidates who have brought accolades and glory to our college in various disciplines.
Besides, I would also like to request the head of the sociology department to share her knowledge on women healthcare programs and what all are the lucrative opportunities available to them in different public as well as private sectors. It would hence be very enlightening for our female audience who can greatly benefit from the speech.

- Keep the tone more serious if it's an important occasion. Use more formal language and don't crack any inappropriate jokes. For example, at a wake, you might say, "We're so glad to have you all here tonight. We appreciate your presence at this difficult time."
- For an event with close friends and family, more informal language might be appropriate. Include a few jokes and keep your speech more lighthearted.

Grab your audience's attention with a strong opening. Start with a loud voice and a strong presence that welcomes everyone and gets them involved. - For a more formal event such as one run by an organisation, you could say, “We are so excited to have you all here to participate in our 10th annual pet’s day, organised by the Animal Rescue Group.”
Forming the Body of the Speech
- An example of acknowledging individual people is saying, “We couldn’t have pulled off this fundraiser without the hard work and dedication of Grace and Sally, who worked tirelessly from day 1 to make today a reality.”
- Avoid reading off a long list of people or sponsors, as your audience will begin to get bored. Stick to just a handful of highlights.
- For instance, at a conference, you might point out when the dinner will be held, or where particular sessions will take place.
- At a wedding reception, you might note when dancing will start or when the cake will be served.
- Alternatively, you could end the body of your speech during an informal gathering by saying, “I can't wait to see you all out on the dancefloor!”
Ending the Speech
- You could also say that you hope that the audience takes something away from the event. For example, “I hope that today inspires ideas and discussions around the ways that we can make our city a better place!”
- At a formal event, you might say, "Now, for our speaker. Rebecca Roberts comes here from Montreal, Canada, and she is a leading expert in the study of the human brain. She'll be speaking tonight on what drives humans to make decisions. Let's welcome her."
- For a more informal event such as a party, you could say, “Next up is Sam, who has been Kyle’s best friend for 10 years strong. He has a decade of embarrassing stories about Kyle to share with us tonight!"
- Alternatively you might say, “Thank you again to everyone for being here tonight to celebrate Joe and Kathleen’s 50th wedding anniversary! Let the celebrations begin!”
- If you are unsure, ask the organiser or host what an appropriate length of time for your speech will be.

It is the most valuable efforts of students who have always cooperate to solve problems and enjoy happiness in the team.
The year was exciting, full of challenges and revival like everyone else. Some days were an endless stream of emergencies that came unannounced. Everyone allows learning, ask questions, reflect, and introspect. As we prepare for the year, we welcome new tryst, new questions, and new problems: new solutions and new heights.
Moreover, when we do, it, we remember that … “On each blade of grass sits an angel who still says: Grows! It grows! – More about school development and a few other points.
We set our standards, strive to achieve them, and rise to higher levels. Science, evolution, and effort will never cease.

Making the Speech Effective
Everything in life can be a little bit smoother with research. No matter the occasion for the welcome speech, do a little research beforehand so you can prepare everyone with solid information for what is to come.
Get people's names right : If you're addressing anyone in particular, make sure you get their titles and names correct, including how to pronounce their names correctly.
Use the right tone for your audience : Is it a formal or informal gathering? The success of your speech will be dependent on striking the right tone. You're ramping up the crowd, but if it's a serious event you don't want to get too effusive. If it's a fun event you don't want to be stiff or seem like you're reading off a monotonous list of "fun facts."
Be brief : Your goal is to get everyone excited about what's to come, not explain everything that will happen in detail. It can be annoying and frustrating to listen to a long, drawn-out speech that will only spoil future events, meetings, and ideas.
What to Avoid in Your Speech
It's just as important to know what not to include in your speech if you want to leave people inspired.
Don't give too much detail : Since this is a basic, general welcome, try to steer clear of detailed information. Your speech should serve as a blanketed welcome to everyone in the crowd. Now's not the time to address specific matters but, rather, to address everyone in the audience and make them feel welcome and wanted.
Don't talk for too long : A welcome speech is short and sweet. Deliver the grand welcome, thank everyone for gathering together, and offer a few breadcrumbs that will get everyone excited.
Don't use offensive language : In the spirit of keeping everyone excited and optimistic, be sure to steer clear of any jokes or comments that could be considered profane or in poor taste .
Engage Your Audience

The challenge of a welcome speech is to find alternate ways to express yourself sincerely without resorting to a string of undifferentiated "same-old, same-old" words and phrases that have become meaningless through overuse to greet your guests with.
And that there's an additional question. Is the event formal or informal? Your answer will guide the language choices you make.

Do you need to use formal or informal language?
Is the welcome speech you're preparing formal or informal?
There are major differences. The words you use in an informal speech will be entirely out of place in a formal one. You need to know what is right for the occasion if you want your speech to be a success.

How to avoid repetition making your speech boring!
Repetition of a familiar word is very easy to do and totally understandable.
Sometimes we can't find the words we want and we get stuck in a vocabulary rut, using the same phrase or word over and over, and over again, trying to make it cover multiple and/or different situations.
And yet we know, words are just like clothes. One size does does not fit all.
What's the solution?
Here's three suggestions to individualize or tailor your words to fit your event a little better. And they'll be more interesting for the audience to listen to!
With care you'll find most will adapt either formal or informal use.
1. Add an adjective to the word welcome
Try working in an adjective to describe the quality of your welcome more fully.
I've provided an example sentence or two alongside each adjective to show how it could be used in context.
I know some examples are much more successful, (smooth to say and read), than others.
Some, quite frankly, clunk a little. (I say this with a wry smile ☺!)
If you decide to use the feature word in those that do, perhaps you'll find a way to use it more eloquently!
What sort of welcome are you offering?
It could be a(n):
- warm welcome " Luckily the weather is on our side today! The sun and I are pleased to offer you a warm welcome."
- hearty welcome "Here's a hearty welcome, big and warm enough to encompass you all! To say we are thrilled to see you is an understatement."
- cheerful welcome "It's my pleasure to extend a cheerful welcome to you all! Your presence makes us very happy."
- cordial welcome "Fellow members, please join me in giving our guests the most cordial of welcomes."
- sociable welcome "Let's hear it for a sociable welcome! On the count of three, turn to your neighbor and say 'hello'. There are no strangers here, only friends we are yet to meet."
- genial welcome "It's my pleasant duty to bid you all a genial welcome."
- convivial welcome "On behalf of my colleagues, I wish you all a convivial welcome. We are going to have a merry and enjoyable time together."
- agreeable welcome "The flags are flying. The balloons are ready for release. It's a great day, one we've been planning and waiting for. I'm sure you'll concur, this is an agreeable welcome."

Secondly, I want to thank our respected Principal and Vice Principal for giving us their consent as well as the complete creative freedom. Last but not the least, our respected professors without whom we are incomplete. They support us in many ways unimaginable not only helping us with the ideas, but also with the execution of those ideas and giving us their necessary moral support.
So when the day has finally arrived, I want to assure my audience that we are going to have a gala time today because all the participants have worked really hard. The preparation has been going on since last month and no stone has been left unturned by our students in making their performances look spectacular. Different performances have been lined up for today – some cultural dance performances, singing performances, instrument playing, etc. In addition, there will be some quiz rounds as well.
Besides, there is a speech giving ceremony by our Hon’ble principal who will be addressing the guest tonight as well as her dear students. The speech by her is not just a string of words, but is a powerful motivational speech that will boost the morale of our students and gives them the insight into various things. We consider ourselves quite fortunate to have been growing up intellectually under the aegis of our Hon’ble principal as well as our teachers who constantly help us in pushing our limits. The fact that the students of our college bring appreciation home is all because of the relentless efforts of our professors.
Their intent is not only to help us grow intellectually but also to strengthen our creative faculties. Other than studies, art and cultural streams, sports is also an equally important area of consideration. Both girls and boys of our college excellently perform in inter-college, zonal as well as national sports competitions. Our college is hence much renowned amongst other colleges and I sincerely hope that in the coming years, the fame of our college continues to grow and our students work diligently in different areas so that they come out with flying colors after the completion of their respective courses.

On the behalf of our college, I – Aarushi Sinha – extend a very sincere welcome to all of you present here on the annual sports meet of our college. Sports are an integral as well as necessary part of our lives. It contributes not only to fitness but helps also in personality development of an individual.
Sports, whether team based or individually performed, are a great activity and provide us a variety of benefits other than physical fitness. Participation in sports can help build self-esteem, confidence and can motivate us to excel academically and can help build social skills. It can even teach certain individuals the ways and benefits of goal setting & practice. It also improves concentration.
So, with this purpose, we organize a sports meet every year, in which 100% participation is encouraged and each participant is rewarded and it is the participation of every individual that is most important for us and gives us immense joy. This year our college has been declared as one of the best institutions in the city, which has included and is following extra-curricular activities in daily schedule, simultaneously with academics. I wish to thank and congratulate each one of you present here as, without your support, it would not have been possible for us to organize an event of this level. What you see today, is the culmination of massive, continuous efforts put in by the students and teachers. So sit tight and cheer with your generous applause.
I am pleased to share that the distinguished guest has honored us with her presence today as the Chief Guest of our Sports day is none other than Mrs. Sheila, a Senior Member from the Ministry of Sports. She herself has been a legendary Indian wrestler & Olympian. She has epitomized unfailing spirit to succeed despite all odds. Mrs. Sheila has been one of the Indian women wrestlers who have made their nation proud many a times by outstanding performances in the area mostly dominated by men.
Her valiant struggle backed by her strong determination brought her all the way where she is now. She has won 3 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal for India along with 2 Bronze medals in World Wrestling Championship & Asian Wrestling Championship. It is a privilege for all of us gathered here to have such a famous personality amongst us, as our esteemed guest of honor.
Best of luck to all the students who are now going to present before us their talent and I pray to god that the best one should win. One should never lose hope even if you fail in a sport as failures lead to success. So with a huge round of applause, let us please call upon our chief guest to grace the occasion and share her life moments and inspiring life story with all of us here.

Hon’ble Guests, Respected Principal, Professors, Admin Staff and My Dear Friends – Warm Good Evening to all of you!
I, Akshay Panwar and my co-host Ananya Pandey welcome you all to another annual college function of ours and want to extend a note of thank you to our guest of honor Smt. ………..the Principal of ABC College for accepting our invitation and coming over to grace the annual function of our college. Friends, our guest of honor has effectively contributed in the field of research and is working with the department of the Oxford University. I, therefore, feel privileged to have introduced you to this great scholar.
To all the freshers who have joined this college this very year itself, I want to tell you that every year our college celebrates annual function with great enthusiasm and zeal like a festival and create wonderful memories. Of course, that goes without saying that a lot of efforts went into preparing for this big day as the preparation cannot happen overnight. It requires careful observation of every single detail because the slight negligence can spoil the whole effort.
So let us all, as an audience appreciate the efforts of all the participants who have been working hard, day and night so that they can shine through in their performances. We have been extremely fortunate that there was a support from all the sides not only for the participants, but also to those working backstage. Support from our Principal, Professors, fellow mates and the admin department was also there throughout. I cannot help appreciating the undaunting spirit of my team members who went out of their comfort zones to ensure that the tasks are completed at the end of the day. In fact, a special thank you goes to our sponsors as without them this annual function couldn’t have been this grand.
After a round of performances, there will also be the award giving ceremony where our college students who participated in the zonal, state as well as national level will be rewarded. So everyone get ready for some power-packed performances of our students and trust me you will not take your eyes off them.
The function will continue until 6 pm followed by the speech ceremony where our guest of honor would be addressing the students. There will also be a question-answer round where our students can ask question and engage in conversation with our guest. In the end, tea and snacks will be served. So kindly remain seated until the end of the program and cheerfully support our participants.

I, Ananya Shukla – from BA English (Hons.) Program, 3 rd year – feel extremely privileged to be standing in front of you all and welcoming everyone in this grand celebration. The day is primarily special because of the annual function and secondly for the successful completion of 25 years of our college. In this long span of 25 years, the fame of our college has tremendously grown. The college was founded with a view to provide excellent learning opportunities to the students and a great platform to showcase their skills.
Beginning with a few foundation courses, our college has gone on to provide not only graduation courses, but post graduation as well as PhD courses. This is indeed quite an achievement for our college and we are also renowned for our well-equipped research centers. In fact, every year research scholars’ day is also celebrated where research scholars from different parts of the country are invited and knowledge is shared, that benefits everyone present under the same roof.
Other than academic achievements, we also cherish development in the field of sports, arts and culture. What I like the most about my college is that it gives equal importance to each and every discipline, so much so that students have the opportunity to achieve an overall development of their personality. Like every year, in today’s annual function too our students will try to put their best foot forward. The preparations have been going on from last two months. I hope all my friends shine through in their performances and give our audience, chiefly our special guest today a high dose of entertainment.
But before we kick start today’s program, please allow me to share the schedule of today’s annual function, i.e. firstly our Hon’ble principal will grace the stage by felicitating our guest of honor followed by a speech ceremony. Then will follow the performances of the students, which are a mix of dance performances, singing performances, playing of the instruments, etc. Before closing the day, we would also request our guest of honor to say a few words to our students and give away awards and medals to the candidates who have brought accolades and glory to our college in various disciplines.
Besides, I would also like to request the head of the sociology department to share her knowledge on women healthcare programs and what all are the lucrative opportunities available to them in different public as well as private sectors. It would hence be very enlightening for our female audience who can greatly benefit from the speech.
In the end, I just would want to say that may everyone enjoy today’s program and take back some wonderful memories. Now, I would request our Principal – Smt. …………. to kindly come on stage and say a few words in this regard.

I am sure everyone will grow up to achieve success and will help in contributing to the betterment of society.
We all have gathered here on this annual day to inspire and motivate young minds to showcase their talents and realize their potential. We will be giving awards to the students who have contributed to our school in 2020, but we will also hold various competitions that will help the students recognize the field in which they are good. From art to business the fields are many, students can take part in this competition and learn and improve themself. Annual day is an important occasion for all of us because apart from the fact that it celebrates the success of the student it also highlights the success our school has achieved from the past 30 years in the field of education and sports. This platform is also an opportunity to welcome our chief guest of the evening today.
Taking our evening further and to begin with the Annual day function, I, on behalf of everyone present here, heartily welcome the inaugurator and the dignity of the annual function today, the guest of honor, Mrs. Rekha, who is a social worker, philanthropist and has an experience in teaching for almost 20 years. I was especially thankful for her when we approached her with the invitation card and requested that she be part of the event as the chief guest, Miss. Rekha did not hesitate at all and instantly agreed to be part of the program.
Thirty years ago, a woman left her highly paid job because she felt that she could contribute more to society. That lady went on and has changed the whole landscape of how education is provided in our country. The woman I am talking about is Miss. Rekha. For the past 30 years, ma’am has helped many students to achieve their dreams. I feel so lucky that I was given the opportunity to talk about ma’am and her achievements. I will try my best to sound as formal as I can, and if I don’t, please don’t blame me because I have been an admirer of Miss Rekha’s work from a younger age. Maam has helped establish many institutions across India that help provide free education to all students. She also has multiple branches of non-profit organizations (NGO’s) all across the country that allows underprivileged children to live good lives. The NGO that ma'am runs also provides free scholarships to students who want to study further abroad. I want to thank you because, like me, many have got a free scholarship to study and complete their further education.
Every individual is talented in their way. Everyone has their area of interest, hobbies, and passion. Scoring well in academics or being a topper is one thing, but the inner talent that everyone has is another. One should identify what their passion is and work accordingly despite any societal pressure. The stereotypes created by society have to be broken by the people living there themselves. That's what Mrs. Rekha did. It is an honor for all of us to have you as our chief guest today, and for that, we thank you, ma'am.
Before the program starts, I would like to welcome all the parents who have always supported us in spreading the light of knowledge. I would also like to welcome all the teachers, students, and support staff who are an important part of this school. I would like to request everyone to kindly cooperate with us throughout the program to make it successful.

Good morning to everyone present here today. I extend a warm welcome to everyone present here at the 25th annual function of our college. It is a big day for everyone who has been a part of the college in the present or the past. Today on this occasion we have invited a special guest who was very kind enough to accept our invitation despite having a busy schedule. She has been running NGO’s all across the country that uplifts the poor and allow underprivileged children to study. Maam has been successful in running different branches of her school throughout India. Ma'am established Little Angels school on March 22 1997 and for the past 23 years, many schools all across the country with the same name are providing free education to children. She has helped shape a part of society by providing education for many unprivileged students for almost 20 years. Ma'am, I feel honored that I was given this opportunity to speak about you and your accomplishments towards the society in front of my school. On behalf of everyone, we feel lucky to have you at our annual college day function. I hope today many students will be able to seek a little guidance from your thoughts.
